Process of Our TMT Bars

Let’s dive deep into the technology. Each of these bars is rolled from hot billets and controlled through a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) which manages the electro-mechanical processes in an automated environment for extra robustness and durability. After quenching and tempering, the bars are cooled naturally on cooling beds where the Austenite core metamorphoses into ductile Ferrite-Pearlite showing high weldability and strength.

This cooling process is very special and futuristic. It has been developed and patented by Hennigsdorfer Stahl Engg.(HSE) GmbH, Germany. It’s a unique rapid water quenching process that ensures regular, uniform and unvarying properties over the complete length of the TMT bar.
